Guru Purnima 24th July 2021
What is the significance of Guru Poornima?
Guru is one who illumines the path to divinity. Poornima stands for the cool full moonlight. Full moon stands for a mind with total illumination and purity. Even if there is a trace of blemish in the mind, it will lead to darkness. It cannot give you total bliss.
Embodiments of Love! Let your mind be filled with the radiance of divine love. Acquiring mere textual knowledge is of no avail. What you have studied is only a fraction of the total knowledge. Yet you feel proud about it. Your worldly education is insignificant compared to divine wisdom. You cannot attain God with your education, power and wealth. He is accessible by Love and Love alone. You can experience Him only when you develop Love. Devotion means to Love God wholeheartedly.

Back Bend Series: Freedom from Fear.
In this series of workshops, following on from the spinal freedom series previously, we will focus primarily on the theme of back bending asanas.
Attention to detail, how to combine, and sequentially order specific techniques, to optimise spinal freedom, and access to the back bending asana.
Clarity of understanding is ultimately important to overcome fear, be it fear of pain, injury, or the unknown due to our ignorance. Fear is a contracted state of body/mind/being, in contrast, backbends require expansion/extension. Removing fear through clarity of understanding provides freedom. These workshops also have a pranayama component.
Yoga is a gift to humanity, make good use of the gift, practice and live yoga.
Namaste Glenn Ceresoli.

Dear Glenn. I just saw your back bend series and would like to join you for the four sessions. I will try and finish the booking process today. (I discovered that all emailed material from you ended in a folder called promotions)
Beautifully written dear brother.
What elevates the practice of asana above exercise is intelligent action and the infusion of awareness throughout the body.
Refining what would otherwise be a mechanical movement into intelligent action, turns practice into a moving meditation.
The light of awareness thus enters into previously dark regions of the mind and body.
Action is more than just movement, action is movement combined with intelligence. Intelligent action implies an elevation of sensitivity and responsiveness of the body and the reactivity of mind; a total awareness. BKS Iyengar ... See MoreSee Less
OMKAR together tomorrow for universal peace -
The practice of Omkara is the vocal repetition of OM 21 times to both inspire and facilitate a meditative state where we can merge in the supreme consciousness.
Understanding what is intended by this practice helps to orientate the mind which is helpful to make the experience as authentic as possible.
We will eventually transcend the barrier of a separate identity in time and space and become one unified consciousness which is much needed at this time. ... See MoreSee Less
Beautiful! So much gratitude introducing this practice to many of us 🙏
Happy Summer Solstice – Father’s Day, Yoga Day…..
It marks the highest point of the Sun in the northern sky, the apex of the auspicious northern course of the Sun in Vedic thought.
In Vedic thought too, the Sun or Surya is the Atman, the Self of all, which is also the Purusha, the pure consciousness that is the goal of Yoga. The connection of Yoga with the Sun at an esoteric level is well established in the Yoga tradition. Besides the outer Sun in the sky, there is the inner Sun of Self-awareness that dwells in the hearts of all beings, our immortal essence of light.
One can connect the Soma or bliss energy of the Sun with mantras on the Summer Solstice and an offering of water with honey. The powerful Paramjyoti mantra invokes the Supreme Light!
Aum Hrim Hamsah Soham Svaha
It is a day to draw our inner perspective to synchronise, body, mind, emotions and atman. When we are in a state of equilibrium we connect to the cosmic time cycles of wellbeing.
We are also in reverence of Father’s Day where we remember the Father figureheads of nurturing in our lives. Balancing both the feminine and masculine energies within us, the earth, the animal world draws us to connect with the Universal flow of divine grace
We must strive for the highest light, even when surrounded by our shadow world and secret darkness.
Humanity needs a new yogic awakening and we can all benefit by energizing our sadhana with the light of Shakti reflecting the Universal Self.
